I'm sure there have been better, tougher ads from Democrats out there, but I'm not sure I can remember one... at least not right now.
Well, the other day Mitt Romney asked for an apology from the Obama Campaign because they bothered to point out the truth about his questionable time at Bain Capital. The Obama Campaign ignored that call, and in fact, mocked it. (As a brief aside, I think John Cole at Balloon-Juice asked the perfect question about this: if Romney really wasn't leading Bain from 1999 to 2002, as he has said, then who was? Where's that guy?)
Anyway, Romney has spent a very bad week in a kind of multi-dimensional box. On one side he's getting hit pretty hard on this Bain stuff. On the other, it's the off-shore accounts piece.
There has been good stuff on this from the Obama Campaign -- Cutter and LaBolt have done good videos amplifying Romney's problems.
This is utterly fantastic:
If they keep hitting Romney like this through the summer, it won't even be close this fall.
