I try not to brag too much on the blog, here. My ego is big enough as it is, I don't need to bore you with my bloviations about what a swell blogger I've turned out to be.
But some good news has come to my attention, I'm pretty proud of it, and I'd like to share it with you. The guest post yesterday from my friend Kevin King on the Romney/Ryan ticket's total lack of foreign policy experience -- orignially posted at the Truman National Security Project website -- has been quoted by Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Beast, and fully re-posted at the prestigious publication of international affairs, The Diplomat.
Over at the Truman Project, they're getting more traffic than they've ever gotten:
"...your blog post just got picked up by two huge outlets, The Diplomat and The Daily Beast. This is a huge amount of traffic for one post -- actually, probably the most-ever on The Truman Doctrine -- so a big thank you in order."
I echo the sentiment of Kevin's colleagues at the Truman National Security Project. As I told Kevin, he is certainly welcome back here any time. It's no Daily Beast, nor is it The Diplomat, but then again, it's not about me, is it? It's about you. Thanks for coming back and reading.
Sincere congratulations to Kevin. He's earned it.
