Hooray for Purple Grapes

I should have told you: Emeline is going to be purple grapes this year for Halloween.  

Last year, we asked her pretty early what she wanted to be, and she said, "Sheep."  And she stuck with it... never wavered, actually.  She was very adamant about being a sheep, and so a sheep she was (see picture above).  

This year we again asked her fairly early what she wanted to be: "Purple grapes."  She stuck with purple grapes until about two days ago when she told Duncan she wanted to be a pink strawberry.

Duncan did a masterful job of steering her back to purple grapes.

Finnegan is only six months old (on the 2nd), and so he's just got a little onesie that says "My first Halloween!"  It's pretty cute, too.  I think he'll be excited to hang out with his family and see all the crazy monsters and goblins and ghouls come looking for candy.
