Thank you for following along. Thank you for your patience through the quiet times and through the re-design(s).
It's been a great year, but what I'm really looking forward to is Year Nine and 2013. I have a lot of hope for a wonderful year, not just for this blog -- which has, once again, survived my protracted musings of ending it -- but for me and my family, and for all of us.
There is a lot going on at home, but in the world of politics and government, too. I hope I keep doing what I've always tried to do with this blog: offer a slightly different, somewhat personal take on the stuff that it happening here and abroad that can often feel, well, a bit overwhelming.
With that said, I want to take just a quick second and thank not only you for reading, but Duncan and the kids, too. They're more than just inspiration. They are full of love and happiness and hope, and they make me see the world in a different, better way.
So what do you say? You with me for another year?

Congratulations, and keep on truckin', as we used to say.
